Trevor Sargent launches National Organic Week 2007 at the Temple Bar Food Market�

Bord Bia in association with the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food launched National Organic Week last Saturday at the Temple Bar Food Market on Meeting House Square. The celebration of all things organic will run from October 22nd to the 28th.

McNallys Organic stall at the Temple Bar Food Market welcomed Trevor Sargent, Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food along with Aidan Cotter CEO of Bord Bia to sample their fresh organic produce as part of the launch.

The aim of the week is an opportunity to discover more about the wealth of organic produce available throughout Ireland and aims to inform consumers about the diverse range of organic produce that is available to us on our doorsteps from artisan suppliers from all over the country.

The 11 year old Temple Bar Food Market takes place every Saturday on Meeting House Square from 10am � 5.30pm where you will find some of the finest organic produce alongside fresh atlantic oysters, organic vegetables, crêpes, cheeses, chutneys and home made breads�an open-air gourmet�s paradise and a unique opportunity to meet your products producer!
