Temple Bar highly commended in this year�s Tidy Towns competition�
Temple Bar Dublin�s Cultural Quarter was highly commended at this year�s Tidy Towns competition despite Dublin areas failing to walk away with the top awards.
The area received a total of 233 points in Population Category D � 2,501 � 5,000
The awards have been running since 1958 after being established by Bord Fáilte and then taken over 11 years ago by the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government.
Westport, Co.Mayo was named Ireland�s Tidiest Town beating Aughrim in Co Wicklow.
Well done to all Temple Bar residents and businesses for their hard work throughout the year!
