Art exhibition featuring work from three Dublin communities on the Liffey

Coordinated by artist and teacher Imelda Healy and launched by Roddy Doyle

The River is an art exhibition featuring work from three Dublin communities on the Liffey will be officially opened by Roddy Doyle on Monday October 16th at the Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8.

Included are portraits of inner-city families done with the kitchen staff at Merchants Quay Friary; oil paintings of Ringsend maritime scenes by local senior citizens; and collages and paintings done with young adults on probation at Bridge, Parnell Street.

The collaborative project is coordinated and curated by artist and teacher Imelda Healy.

The exhibition is supported by Temple Bar Cultural Trust and will run until Friday October 27th.

Exhibition opening hours are from 9am to 5 pm.
