Temple Bar Cultural Trust (TBCT) is seeking to contract a Production Manager

Reporting to the Head of Cultural Development, the Production Manager will be part of our busy and enthusiastic team whose job is to manage and control all aspects of event production for Temple Bar Cultural Trust during the busy festivals season.

We organise over 350 free outdoor cultural events each year including: weekly markets; the annual Handel festival (April); Diversions (June-September) which is Ireland�s biggest, longest and best festival of free outdoor events; special events at Halloween, Christmas and other times; Culture Night (September), a new initiative and one of our most successful ventures ever.

This role will be on a contract of services basis with Temple Bar Cultural Trust for a fixed period of time commencing in March on a part time basis until April, and full time from April until September.

Responsibilities
� To manage and strictly control the production budget, abiding by the company�s financial systems.
� To manage, be responsible for and strictly control every event for duration of contract.
� To organize the costing, purchase and delivery of all production materials and their construction.
� To liaise with and support in the best possible way all incoming and internal productions.
� To assist in the overall venue management and coordination with Venue Manager.
� Be responsible for stage management for all company performances/events
� To plan and produce production schedules in consultation with the Production team and relevant TBCT staff.
� To advise with company director on any company needs relating to the venues and the companies� properties.
� To advise of Technical Requirements to deliver events.
� To maintain or organise regular maintenance of all necessary equipment
� To keep record of all elements of operations
� To organize and lead regular production meetings
� To be responsible for ensuring that all staging complies with licensing and health and safety regulations, that the venues are always a safe working environment and that all persons follow TBCT and Theatre health and safety policy.
� To complete appropriate risk assessments for all TBCT events.
� To act always in the best interests of TBCT Festivals and Events.

Experience
� Event and festival planning experience.
� Excellent Computer skills
� Excellent knowledge and experience in AV and sound and lighting (both live and studio).
� Experience in working with International companies and acts.
� Theatre production management experience (freelance experience desirable)
� Event Technical management experience.
� Superb management and communication skills
� Happy working with small budgets and big ambitions
� Excellent contacts for various contractors and personnel.
� First aid at work certificate (desirable)
� Full, clean driving license (desirable)
