Culture Night scoops Irish Times Living Dublin Award...
Culture Night, Dublin 2006 was Highly Commended today at the announcement of this years Irish Times Living Dublin Awards which took place at the Westin Hotel.
Culture Night was awarded the commendation in the category of Culture and Tourism.
Grainne Millar, Head of Cultural Development with Temple Bar Cultural Trust accepted the award and said 'This award is a fantastic endorsement of Dublin's first Culture Night. Its an award to not only us as festival organisers but to all of the 50 cultural organisations around Dublin city who took part and opened their doors to the public for the night'
Thank you once again to everyone who took part and supported Culture Night 2006. Planning is already well underway for this years event which will be bigger and better with over 80 organisations taking part on Friday September 14th 2007.
